HOVHANNISYAN ASHOT NIKOLAY
HOVHANNISYAN ASHOT NIKOLAY (born in 1960, in Yerevan, in a family of doctors), is cardiologist - arrhythmologist , doctor of Medical Sciences, professor, established in 2011 and currently leads the department of Interventional Cardiology, Clinical Electrophysiology and Radiological Diagnostics at the Research Institute of Cardiology.
Graduated from Pushkin School in 1977, Yerevan State Medical Institute in 1984, completed his residency in General Medicine in 1985.
From 1985 to 1991 he worked as a doctor-cardiologist at the central district's hospital of Abovyan at the same time making scientific work as a researcher at the Research Institute of Cardiology .
In 1989 he defended his PhD thesis on "The hypertrophic correlation 's research on the left ventricular function of patients having arterial hypertension”. In 1991 he worked as a researcher in the newly established department of heart 's rhythms disorders at the Research Institute of Cardiology.
He is the first to apply the implantation of the devices driving rhythms using the method of electrodes
Since 1996 has made the implantation of the devices driving heart 's rhythms
In 2011 he received the qualification of the European Association of Cardiologists
Since 2005 he has led the Laboratory of Radionuclides Diagnostic at the Research Institute of Cardiology .
In 2006 he defended his doctoral thesis on “The assessment of the state of health of Armenia 's citizens participating in the liquidation of the Chernobyl 's disaster 's consequences and the development of preventive actions ".
He wrote more than 60 methodical manuals.
