JILAVYAN GAGIK ARAM

(Oncologist-Gynecologist, Doctor of Medical Sciences, and Professor) has been the head of the oncogynecology department of the National Center of Oncology named after V.A.Fanarjian since 1993.

In 1979 graduated from the Medical Faculty of Yerevan State Medical University.

From 1979-1981 completed the clinical residency at the Scientific Research Institute of Oncology after N.N.Petrova in St. Petersburg.

In 1984 defended his dissertation, earning his Ph.D. in medical sciences in St. Petersburg.

In 2002 defended his dissertation, earning the doctor of medical sciences degree in Yerevan.

He is a member of the Scientific Council of National Center of Oncology in RA, Professional Board on Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Oncology 061 of Yerevan State Medical University after Heratsi, Association of Armenian Oncologists.

He is the author of more than 100 scientific works and a number of suggestions.
