MANUKYAN VILEN EGHISH

MANUKYAN VILEN EGHISH (born in 1955, Ukraine) Cardiac Surgeon, Ph.D. in Medical Sciences. He has been the Head of the Surgery Service of Yerevan Nork-Marash State Medical Center since 1993. He is a lecturer of the 1st Department of Surgery of Yerevan Medical University, a researcher at the Department of Cardiac Surgery of NIH (National Institute of Health).

From 1972-1979 studied at the Faculty of Medicine of Yerevan State Medical Institute.

From 1979-1980 completed the resedencyship in General Surgery in Malatia MC.

From 1982-1987 studied at Moscow High School of National Research Center for Transplantation and Artificial Organs.

From 1987-1988 studied at Yerevan Branch of the All-Union Cardiac Surgery Research Center.

From 1989-1990 participated in specialized training at "DEDINJE" Cardiovascular Hospital in Belgrade, Yugoslavia.

From 1980-1981 worked as a surgeon at the General Surgery Department of Talin Regional Clinical Hospital.

From 1981-1993 worked at Yerevan Branch of the All-Union Heart Surgery Research Center.

He is the author of about 40 published works on cardiology.
